Hours:
Before school borrowing: 7:45 - 8am
Open during the school day for library classes.
Students may visit at recess with a recess pass.

Policies and Procedures
In addition to the 3 B's and IB Learner Profile, Aina Haina students follow three guidelines when they visit the library:
Walk.
Whisper.
When you use something, put it back in the right place!
Borrowing Policy
Grades K - 1: 1 book
Grades 2 - 3: 2 books
Grades 4 - 5: 3 books
Parents: 5 books
The borrowing period is two weeks. Please return your books on time or bring them to school to get renewed.
Lost/Damaged Book and Refund Policy
Any person checking out materials from the school library is responsible for the care of these items. Fines will be assessed for damages and students will be asked to pay for the lost/damaged materials in the amount necessary to purchase an exact replacement or one that is comparable if the item is no longer available. Cash or checks (made out to Aina Haina School) are accepted.
Refunds will be given for lost materials that are later found if the items are in good condition and are returned within the school year in which they were lost.
Computer Lab
The computer lab will be open for technology classes and with a teacher.
